Your Social Work Success Path Is…
The CEO Social Worker Phase

Here's what this Success Path means for your career…
You inspire everyone around you with your willingness to show up and give 100%, no matter the task.
In the workplace, you dedicate so much of your time and energy to checking in on the well being of other, and making sure that this work isn't consuming their lives, that you should get the Social Worker of the Year award. You don’t do it for recognition though, you do it because balance, self-care, mixed with a lot of dedication and hard work are a few of your most important personal values.

Transparency and follow-through are your love languages. You’re always working on your own personal growth and you believe the work environment would function better for Social Workers if companies understood that Social Workers aren't machines, but are real people who should be valued, appreciated and compensated for their work and not taken advantage of.
Your "anything is possible" attitude makes you a perfect role model for your co-workers and colleagues. Led by your example, they’re driven to be the best that they can.
It’s no wonder you’re such an amazing Social Worker. You have the type of leadership that others want to follow. Your non-juddgy approach helps those around you feel like they can tell you anything, and that it's so easy for them to put their guard down. You unconsciously give people permission to show up as themselves (even if you feel like you always need to be improving yourself).
How Knowing Your Career Success Path Can Help You Advance In Your Career
You've gained some value knowledge in your career. You have experiences, a perspective and insights that people want to know more about.
You just need to clearly define your area of mastery without feeling like you have to serve EVERYONE. You need to niche down to your one thing. In this phase you want to display mastery of your high value skills that you can then leverage to be able to make passive income by teaching what you know. You want to share your perspective more and develop thought leadership in your area of expertise. The goal here is to position yourself as an authority who people want to learn from.
Your focus here should be identifying an audience and learning how to package an offer that you can sell online. This phase is a PERFECT time to learn more about sales and marketing, understand who your target audience is and how to dominate on one Social Media platform to position yourself as an expert. Lean operations will be key for you, as it can be so easy to start buying a ton of tech tools, trainings and software.

Why is it so difficult to make good money with a Social Work degree?
The simple answer is we were never taught how to make money, or ask for more because we are in a "profession of service."
One of the major misconceptions you might have as a Social Workers is that you must be licensed to make decent money or that you have to work in a Case Management position before you can transition into any other type of work.
And because of this half truth, you've probably never prioritized the importance of making a clear plan for your transition as a CEO Social Worker. You may have jumped straight from an internship and started applying for jobs, or were crossing your fingers and toes that your internship would turn into a full time position. You may have just followed what you saw other Social Workers doing, without mapping out a success path based on your own unique interest, passions and skill sets. Social Work was suppose to be the career that helped you tackle real social problems, but what happens when you love the work, but hate your agency.
I created this quiz to help you identify "soft pivots" at each level of social work practice, that can create a smoother transition for you by using transferable skills that you already have. My mission is to help open your eyes to many possibilities NOW, so you don't have to spend hours of your time learning how to upload modules on your training platform (like I did).
